Happy or Sad?

I'm not so sure. The first snow is always beautiful. It brings magic and excitement for the holidays. But then that vision gets tainted when I remember how much more of this stuff I'll be seeing. I still want the vibrant colors and the crisp leaves. I want to wear sweaters and long sleeve shirts. Not parkas, gloves, and scarves.
Oh well....I guess I'll just try to enjoy it beauty of it now. Maybe I'll go home and start a fire (in our new fireplace that is) and sip on some choffy while the hubby is spending the evening at school.
