My goodness... my Miss Amelia is 3 months old today.
This little girl has quickly stolen the hearts of the both of us. It's so funny how her little personality is starting to show. She's is one happy girl. Just loves life.
She's accomplished a lot this past month.
~ She's found her tongue. She thought it was so funny when Daddy and Uncle David would stick their tongue out and she decided that she should try her's. She thinks it even better when Daddy blows noises with his tongue.
~ She loves being sung to. Sometimes she'll even join in herself. Tonight she heard Joseph singing in the kitchen and got all excited. Kicking those legs and smiling.
~ She went through a week or two thinking that Mommy's bed is much more comfy then her cradle. I think we may be back to normal...thank goodness.
~ She loves sitting with Daddy in the recliner. She'll watch football, suck on her hands, talk, look out the window, and talk naps there. It's her favorite spot.
~ Rolling over is an old trick now. These days she likes to just kick her feet so much that she turns herself 90 degrees from where I laid her. This is on her back and tummy.
~ She had her first Thanksgiving. It was yummy. Uncle Zach let her try whip cream and even gravy. Later she gave it back to him all over his shirt. :) She was showered with attention by all her Aunts and Uncles. Here she is with Uncle David.
~ She prefers sitting up now because then she can see whats going on. This can get pretty exhausting for such a little one.
~ Sucking on her fist is still a favorite past time. Actually, the index finger and thumb at the same time has been the preferred method.
~ Bath time is still as fun as ever. The kicks are getting bigger and squeals louder.
~ Speaking of squeals...she's let out few high pitch shrills that have stopped Joseph and I in our tracks.
~ She actually found herself in the mirror on her swing. Sometimes she talks to it, but usually she's not so sure about the cute baby looking back at her.
~ She still loves being outside. Too bad it's usually too cold here to get out.
~ Daddy let her try some candy the other day. I didn't get her first reaction, which wasn't so pleasant, but then she thought it was fun.
~ She becoming a little jabber box. She loves to tell big stories. She especially loves the way it sounds when she growls.
