Just before Halloween Joseph got a call back from Deloitte, the accounting firm that he had previously interviewed with. They wanted him to fly back to New York for a second interview. Yea!!!
He was going the weekend before Halloween. My sister in law, Michelle, has raved about Halloween in NY and what an experience it is. Joseph, knowing well my love for the above said holiday, worked at booking Amelia and I a seat next to him on his flight to NY. I couldn't have been more excited!
We were lucky enough to spend 6 lovely days there.
We flew in on Wednesday afternoon. Just in time to take a much needed nap before Joseph had to go to a social, mingle, get to know you kind of thing with the firm. That meant a fun girls night out in the BIG APPLE!

Then we headed back to the hotel to take a dip in the pool.

We eventually made our way to Randy and Michelle's house and Amelia fell right into place with the kids.

Halloween in Brooklyn did not disappoint! It was so awesome. People everywhere. Huge crowds of dressed up people.
Isabelle stole the show though. Isn't her costume stunning? People were stopping in their tracks when they saw her. Kuddos to the oh so talented Michelle.

She would not let go of her candy bag for any reason. We only let her get like 4 pieces of candy, so she was not about to lose those precious items!
The crowds of people were incredible. It made me so giddy seeing everyone enjoying this holiday just as much as me.

So thankful that we got to spend so much time with Randy, Michelle, and the kids. It's always such a good time.
