Our Easter...

Our Easter.... simple, yet fun. 

It was Spring Break for Preston so Nessie and Uncle P came to spend the week with us. 

Thank heavens for my mom! 

I started my training with jetBlue the middle of last week and mom jumped right in to care for my little one. It was sooooo hard for me to leave her all day for those two days. But it made it a little easier knowing that Amelia was having a ball with her Nessie. Most likely, not even realizing I was gone. 

This was really Amelia's first Easter. (Last year we were somewhere in between Provo and Delaware and there were no special Easter traditions happening.) She loved all the fun things we did. I just tried to keep it simple and just enjoyed all being together before the real chaos of me starting work and Joseph studying for finals began.

Dog-Dog of course had to be apart of the Easter egg action. 

(Although, it was this night that she started calling him Doggie...don't know where that came from.)

It was also Nessie's birthday on Saturday. Amelia was so proud that she stuck the candles in the cake by herself.  She also loved singing "Happy, Happy, Happy...." all day long!

My dear hunka hubby did us the favor of staying up most of the night before smoking some delicious pork.

It was his best yet... Good work J!
